DRS Sustainment Systems, Inc. (DRS-SSI) is a Leonardo DRS Line of Business (LOB) headquartered in St. Louis, MO. It is a full service supplier of diversified defense systems, products and support for the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and other international defense customers. From conceptual design through manufacturing to integrated logistics support, DRS-SSI has a more than 50-year tradition of providing quality systems and products while meeting customer's demands for innovation, efficiency and quality. The business unit also includes a 100-acre heavy equipment manufacturing facility in West Plains, MO. Position Summary
DRS Sustainment Systems Inc is seeking a Full Time Manager I Operations to ensures cost, schedule, and quality targets for manufacturing sites, product lines, or work cells are consistently met.
Duties and Responsibilities
Capable of resolving complex issues/problems utilizing comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes
Manages the development, and monitors execution, of manufacturing schedules
Develops budgets and manages activities to accomplish financial objectives
Develops and recommends short- and long-range objectives, consistent with organization guidelines
Coordinates operations and communications within, between, and among various functional areas
Ensures operations conform to the organization's policies and procedures, values, and federal, state, and local regulations
Establishes, monitors, and ensures customer satisfaction
Engages in the typical responsibilities of a manager requiring planning, evaluating, organizing, integrating, and controlling
Coordinates team member recruitment and selection, career development, and performance assessment
Drives continuous improvement through deployment of best practices, such as Lean Six Sigma
Continually identifies and assesses risks and deploys proactive mitigation plans
May participate in the preparation and/or review of proposals for new business based upon RFP/RFQ requirements
May coordinate operations and communications within, between, and among various functional areas
Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
Attend applicable internal or external customer meetings
Participate on special project teams
Support and lead new product introduction activities
Maintain knowledge of current manufacturing and continuous improvement trends in the industry
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Management or related field, or equivalent with 7 years of experience
Proficient technical expertise with demonstrated application
Knowledge and familiarity with standards (ISO, AS, etc)
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, negotiation, communication and writing skills

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
