Medical Center in Missouri is searching for a General Adult Psychiatrist to fill a Medical Directorship position. This is an outstanding leadership opportunity to oversee a busy 25 bed inpatient unit.
Primary responsibilities are on an outpatient basis with rotation coverage of a 14 bed adult inpatient program.
Call is rotated Monday through Friday between Psychiatrists and entails coverage for the crisis outreach team, OMC ER, and call for the inpatient unit. Medical Center currently has 3 full time Psychiatrists.
This family oriented community is located in the beautiful Ozark Mountains. National forest lands, lakes and streams provide abundant outdoor recreation activities. Community is located just 200 miles from St. Louis and 100 miles from Springfield. Come and join this progressive team.
